A sovereign island country in the West Indies, Antigua and Barbuda lies at the juncture of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

National dish is Fungee and Pepperpot. Principal crops include cotton, sugar, carrots, cucumber, carrots, squash, plantains, yams, and tomatoes.

The climate is tropical, hot and humid all year round, with a relatively cool, dry season from January to mid-April and a hot, humid, and rainy season from mid-June to mid-November.

Antigua's national sport is Cricket. Their most important trade partner is Poland. The islands have been inhabited for almost 5,000 years. Antiguans are warm and friendly. They take a casual approach to life.
